STAY IN TOUCH WITH RWANDA
While in Rwanda, our team will be posting pictures and updates of their experiences. The result will be an exciting unfolding of the mission experience in nearly real time. We will all be able to partake in small part of what our friends and family members are encountering. You will also have the opportunity to send prayers and to answer prayers requests made by team members.
NHP's Short Term Mission Trip....
.....TO RWANDA NEEDS YOU!!
Our own Julie Davies, a veteran of African Mission trips, has pulled together this incredible opportunity to serve those in need in Rwanda. The trip already has 15 people going, the expected number, and the deadlines have passed. But, we know the Lord isn't always big on deadlines. If you have prayerfully considered this trip and want to be involved, contact Julie Davies.
Details of the trip are: Cost: about $3295 (including airfare). Trip Dates: July 24-August 8. Leader: None other than our own Ben Pierce. He speaks Swahili like a native!
Mission Focus is visiting and helping with: Child Headed Households, a Street Childrens' Ministry, Widows and Orphans, The Genocide Museum, A Church Service and A Prison Outreach.
The work will be in conjunction with Bishop Kolini and his citywide outreach in Kigali. We will also be joining forces with African Enterpise, a christian ministry with a focus on evangelism, reconciliation, leadership training, relief and community development.
OTHER WAYS TO HELP: You can help sponsor one of our missionaries; you can adopt a Compassion Child from Rwanda (our missionaries will visit the child); you can do major intercession for the trip so that God's will will be accomplished for all concerned and it will be a blessed journey.
